Skippers,

You are invited to enter in the 49th annual Huntington Harbour Holiday Boat Parade.
This year's parade will be held on Saturday, Dec. 10th and Sunday, Dec. 11th, 2011.

This will be the 49th Boat Parade and I am honored to be the first woman to serve as
Grand Marshal. I have been a Lieutenant and Night Captain in the past three years and
have been chairman of the Boat Parade Committee five times.

As you know, the Boat Parade is the start of our fund raiser, “Cruise of Lights®”,
bringing music education to school children all over Orange County. Many of you have
been instrumental in the past in making the Boat Parade a huge success. I encourage
and welcome new as well as past participants.

The theme this year is “island serenade”.
Think Beatles from the British Isles, Pirates of
the Caribbean, Fantasy Island, Gilligan's Island, South Sea Islands, Hawaiian Islands, or
the Greek Isles. Ireland is an island, so is Manhattan. I hope you have fun with this.
